Educating cat owners on the symptoms and causes of FLUTD
What did the client need?
Our client needed a film which could help cat owners understand a very common disease in cats, Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). The film would be used primarily in vet’s waiting rooms, but would also be shown on company websites and at inter-company training meetings. The film had three main purposes: increase the cat owner’s awareness and understanding of FLUTD, highlight the health risks associated with the disease, and explain the connection between FLUTD and nutrition. In addition to educating the cat owner about FLUTD and its causes, the film should promote our client’s range of special dietary products for cats.
How did we meet this need?
The anatomically correct 3D model of the feline urinary tract is the main feature of the film. It is used to depict the mechanism of disease realistically, showing the formation of stones and urethral plugs. In addition, we use a mixture of real life images of cat owners and cats to create a more emotional connection with the cat owners. The entire design is kept in the brand colors, thus creating a subtle reminder of the brand and product.
